Google Classroom is a great way for students and teachers to connect with each other inside and outside of school. It allows teachers to design classes, assign assignments, give feedback to students, and see everything in one place. 

Google Documents is an online word processor that lets you create typed documents. It's easy to share, offer feedback, and edit each other's work with multiple networks inside or outside of school. 

 

Xtra Math is a free program that allows students to practice their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts. Teachers choose the program that is differentiated and comfortable for the student.  

Prezi is a presentation software that is known for its zoom and motion features to help teacher or student presentations come to life. It's a great alternative to traditional slide-based formats. 

MyOn is an online digital library! With this program, students can have access to more than 1,700 books online in school or at home. Students enjoy the option of reading the books independently or having the software read to them. All picture books include pages in full color!

Prodigy is a free online, fantasy game that helps students in grades 1-7 become math wizards! It is curriculum and common core based. Teachers can differentiate levels of difficulty and assign various parts of the grade-level curriculum at different times.

Discovery Education offers digital content to support curriculum content for grades k-12. It is a great learning tool that helps bring the real world into the classroom and helps illustrate learning content for all students! 

YouTube is a great learning tool that can be re-purposed for the classroom. Use it for video watching and video publishing! Students can become more engaged as they watch fun, lively videos that illustrate learning content across all subjects! 

Answer Garden is an online tool that can be used to collect brief answers from your students as they answer your self-made questions over any topic. Students become engaged as they digitally respond to questions and see results from the rest of their classmates!

 

With Skype, teachers can virtually bring in any guest into the classroom to help students make real-world connections to what they're learning. It is a great alternative to going on field trips as it maintains an authentic experience for students.
